Angela has over 15 years of extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist working with adults, children and their families following birth injuries, brain injuries or life limiting conditions. With significant experience in the NHS at North Tees and Hartlepool University Hospital, as well as Social Services and NHS Community Integration teams. Angela brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. She creates tailored plans for each client, providing empathetic support for school or home adaptations, gross motor skills, and visual or auditory processing.

Key Roles

Working alongside of families to provide relevant treatment, appropriate plans and introduce specialist equipment to support each individual.

Setting appropriate goals and treatment planning consider motor and life skills, personal and domestic care, sensory needs and mental health etc.

Accessing and completing assessments whether support is needed for gross motor skills, sensory integration and visual or auditory processing

Organising appropriate referrals to various services from CAMHS, Speech and Language and the Educational Psychologist.

Training sessions to teachers if required so that there is a greater understanding and support system in place for specific needs for the child.
